Request for cooperation for the 2024 Annual Japanese Companies Survey

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the Japanese companies in the states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia and Mecklenburg-West Pomeranian* for their cooperation in the "Survey on the Number of Japanese Companies Operating in Overseas Countries" (formerly known as the "Survey on the situation of Japanese Companies Operating in Overseas Countries"). We have been sending out the questionnaire form by email again this year. The form is also available in the link below.

We would like to ask you to answer the form by 27th December (Fri.). If your company has multiple offices and/or stores in the aforementioned areas of our jurisdiction, please fill out as many forms as the number of your business locations.

For the purpose of this survey, Japanese companies are defined as (1) overseas branches of Japanese companies, (2) 100% Japanese owned subsidiaries and their branches, (3) Japanese joint ventures (with a capital contribution of more than 10%) and their branches, and (4) Japanese companies established abroad (with a capital contribution of more than 10% Japanese).

*As for the other 10 states, the following Consulate-Generals are in charge of the survey. The Japanese companies located in those states can kindly contact to the respective Consulate-General that is responsible for your state.
　- Consulate-General in Hamburg: Hamburg, Bremen, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein
　- Consulate-General in Dusseldorf: North Rhine-Westphalia
　- Consulate-General in Frankfurt: Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Hesse
　- Consulate-General in Munich: Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria
